Have you heard yet? This year, Visa Developer is partnering with TechCrunch on the first-ever global virtual Disrupt SF Hackathon.

Submissions are open from now until August 2, and winning teams will have the opportunity to attend the Disrupt SF Conference September 5-7.

In this digital age, consumers expect seamless experiences personalized to their needs. Point of sale is no longer a destination—it's wherever and whenever the customer wants it. That’s why we’re challenging developers to help Visa reshape commerce and accelerate digital payment acceptance.

Think digital payment methods, leveraging data, small businesses, and B2B payments. Overall, how can an improved payments experience transform commerce?

The hackathon is currently live, and submissions are accepted until 5 PM EST on the official hackathon DevPost page. We’ll be awarding 3 winning teams who best use Visa APIs, and TechCrunch is also awarding the top 100 teams with Disrupt Innovator Passes.

The top 30 teams will pitch at the SF Disrupt Conference, and one top winning team will win $10,000.

Virtually anyone, anywhere can submit – check out specific challenge details here. (Visa’s got a prize pool of $14K!)

Since everything’s virtual, we have some extra resources for you to potentially win your way to San Francisco:

  • Visa Coder Series Webinar –  Watch it here
  • Office Hours – get your questions answered 1:1 with someone on the Visa Developer team. Sign up here.

There is one week left to submit – get hacking!
