Hi,
I'm working in a French web agency, we are implementing your API for the bank Kleinworth Hambros based in London, England.
I'm currently trying to create the CSR.
I suppose we should use Kleinworth Hambros informations for the parameters we send in the CSR :
Country Name: UK
State Name: (empty)
Locality Name: London
Organization Name: SG Kleinwort Hambros
Organizational Unit Name: Banking Operations
Common Name: kleinworthambros.com
But I have a doubt - in your help page, you say:
State Name
Name of the state or province where the server is located
Should we send 'Country Name', 'State Name' and 'Locality Name' of SG Kleinworth Hambros, or from the location where the server is hosted?
Thanks in advance for your reply,
Regards,
Guillaume Tirard

Hey @gtirard,
State Name
Name of the state or province where the server is located. Spell out the name completely (Note: do not abbreviate). For example: California
Thanks for the quick reply but no, it doesn't fully answer my question.
1. The server his hosted in France. We don't have "states" in Europe as you do in the USA, so can I leave this field empty ?
2. Do you confirm that other informations are related to the bank SG Kleinworth Hambros, and not to the hosting provider ?
Therefore, is this set of information correct:
Country Name: UK
State Name: (empty)
Locality Name: London
Organization Name: SG Kleinwort Hambros
Organizational Unit Name: Banking Operations
Common Name: kleinworthambros.com
----------------
Thanks in advance for confirmation
Hey @gtirard,
My apologies for the delayed response. The state cannot be left empty but the user can enter city name in the state name.
The common name needs to be a fully qualified domain name such as services.kleinworthambros.com. The domain name needs to belong to the client who will be connecting to Visa. The common name cannot start with www or any special character.
