Missunderstanding Documentation

So...What am I supposed to put in my request for Tokenize Card? "cardInfo" or "cardDetails"?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Missunderstanding Documentation

Hi @hicurin,

In all honesty, you shouldn't input anything in Tokenize Card. The reason for that is that v1 CyberSource APIs' version was recently deprecated. You'll need to move to v2 CyberSource APIs going forward.

Please take a look at the Cybersource Payments Rest API moving forward. Hope that helps and here's the link - https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/cybersource/reference#cybersource__cybs_payments_v2! Enjoy!

Thanks,

Diana H.

Re: Missunderstanding Documentation

Hi @DinanaTran-Yee,

Thanks for your reply, one more question that I would like to ask you is that I have registered Merchant on Cybersource system I really dont know when I make a call using "Cybersource Payments REST API", how can the orders go to Cybersource? Meanwhile my Cybersource MerchantID in my project's configuration could not be the same as my MerchantID in Cybersource system.

Re: Missunderstanding Documentation

Hi @

If you have not signed up for a Merchant ID (MID), any connection you make to any CyberSource resource will fail entirely because you do not exist in the CyberSource system, therefore CyberSource will not recognize you. You do not have to be a signed merchant but you do have to sign up for a CyberSource account, which you can do on your own on the CyberSource website.
