Hey everyone,
Here's some helpful tips if you're experiencing a login and access issue or password issue.
To start, please make sure that you first register on the Visa Developer Portal and then you'l need to confirm your account once you receive the confirmation email in your inbox. To register for a VDP account go here - https://developer.visa.com/portal/auth/register
When you log into your VDP account, make sure you're putting your email address as how you've entered it in the system, using lowercase or uppercase for characters that you had used lowercase or uppercase on.
When you choose a password, you'll need to make sure to meet these requirements. When changing password, make sure you're putting your email address as how you've entered it in the system, using lowercase or uppercase for characters that you had used lowercase or uppercase on. Your password shouldn't contain three consecutive numbers like 123.
To reset password, go to this link - https://developer.visa.com/portal/auth/forgot
Or you can login to VDP and go to this link to reset password - https://developer.visa.com/portal/account/password
Both links above give you the option to reset the password.
If you're having a password reset problem, you can try the following:
- Support > Frequently Asked Questions > How do I fix registration/login issues? - https://developer.visa.com/pages/support
- Try using another web browser (e.g. IE, Chrome, etc.)
- Try clearing your cache and cookies
- Remove extra spaces and do not press TAB
- Avoid using a password containing parts of your username or company name (e.g. "cUst")
- Try using a different type of special character
- Make sure your email address and password do not have the same letter sequence or character sequence
- If the password problem persists, please try using Google Chrome in incognito mode and clear cookies and cache.
