Error Generating JKS

I was following the steps in the Tow-Way SSL manual to generate the JKS and when I executed step two corresponding to the following command line:


keytool -importkeystore -srckeystore myProject_keyAndCertBundle.p12 -srcstoretype pkcs12 -destkeystore myProject_keyAndCertBundle.jks

 

I always get an IOException when entering the password regardless of whether I enter it right or wrong. Does anyone know what could be the cause?
