Shared Secret is not visible in my Credentials

Hi VISA developers, I decided to use X-Pay-Token to experience your reliable features (APIs). I created a new project and added the "Visa Direct" API, which requires X-Pay-Token. However, I'm having an issue with getting the shared secret on the project dashboard (Credentials section). I tried creating a new project and generating new X-Pay Credentials multiple times, but the Shared Secret input remains empty. I would like to know what is causing this issue.

Re: Shared Secret is not visible in my Credentials

Hey @behruz1,

Thank you for reaching out and choosing to use the Visa Direct API with X-Pay-Token for your project. I understand that you are experiencing an issue with obtaining the shared secret in the project dashboard under the Credentials section. Here are some steps and potential solutions to address this issue:

Potential Causes and Solutions

1. Browser Compatibility:
- Sometimes, the issue might be related to the browser you are using. Try accessing the Visa Developer Dashboard using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari) to see if the shared secret is displayed.

2. Clear Cache and Cookies:
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies and then try accessing the dashboard again. This can sometimes resolve display issues.

3. Check Project Settings:
- Ensure that your project settings are correctly configured and that you have properly added the Visa Direct API to your project.

4. Regenerate Credentials:
- If the shared secret input remains empty, try regenerating the X-Pay Credentials again. Sometimes, it might take a few attempts for the system to generate the credentials correctly. Make sure to refresh the page after regenerating.

5. Account Permissions:
- Ensure that your account has the necessary permissions to access the shared secret. Check with your team or account administrator to verify your account permissions.

I hope this helps to resolve the issue with obtaining the shared secret for your X-Pay-Token.

Thanks,

Diana
