Continuing to store PANs after a token has been provisioned
Hi,
I'm reading the Visa Digital Services E-Commerce Tokenization Implementation Guide Version 1.0, and there's a note:
"Note: There may be exceptions when some use cases permit token requestors to continue storing PANs in order to support current operations"
Does anyone know what these use cases may be?

Hi Evo,
May I request you to please work with a Visa team member (assuming you did in past or are in communication on the integration based on below question)? The reason being it need to be inline with architecture, integration and many other factors.
If no, please do email at developer@visa.com and happy to continue the discussion on the topic accordingly.
Thank you,
