Parental control app - Is this functionality possible?

Hi, I’m the Project Manager at a software development company in New Jersey, and I am trying to figure out if something is possible with your developer APIs. We have a client that wants to create an app that allows parents to manage their childrens’ credit cards. They are requesting the following functionality:

1. Set genre and spend limits
2. Get notifications of authorized and denied transactions
3. Get history of transactions
4. Freeze/unfreeze card

Please let me know if you think this is possible with your APIs. If so, could you please point me in the direction of the correct documentation?

I think there are few API's on Visa that can help with your requirements.

1. Set genre and spend limits
   • https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/vctc
2. Get notifications of authorized and denied transactions
   • https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/vctc
3. Get history of transactions
   • https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/dcas
4. Freeze/unfreeze card

I think most of your requirements can be meet by Visa Transaction Control & Digital Card and Account Services not sure is you can Freeze or Unfreeze the card using API. Let me know if you find something on that.

This is kind of a bit more advanced management stuff but can be done. All you will need is 3 API that is listed in the above comment and then tries hiring an app developer to integrate so it will be easy to manage.
