Real Time System Interface for VROL API documentation

Hi,

I am trying to locate in https://developer.visa.com/docs the API documentation for the Real Time System Interface for VROL to be used to integrate with our dispute tracking system (to raise and manage charge backs for example).

However I am not able to identify precisely which API doc would provide this.  Is there someone that has done this in the past and can assist with pointing me into the correct direction.

Kind Regards,

Re: Real Time System Interface for VROL API documentation

Hey @Reuben,

You'll be able to find a specification on how this works in our MTE2 test environment.

Do you have access to Visa Online? If you have access, then you can download the specification. You'll need to login at Visa Online here -  https://www.visaonline.com/login/LoginMain.aspx

The specification download link is: Real-Time Systems Interface Technical Suite - Rel 18.2

Or you can copy and paste this in your browser after you have already logged into VOL  - https://mte2.vrol.visaonline.com/rolstatic/pubs/Real_Time_Systems_Interface_Technical_Suite_Rel_18.2...

If you don't have access to Visa Online, you can request access by clicking ‘Enroll Today’. After your request is submitted, a Visa Online representative will contact you soon.

Thanks,

Diana

Re: Real Time System Interface for VROL API documentation

Hi Diana,

Thanks for your reply we found the specs. on VISA online as per your directions.

We see the following "Real_Time_Systems_Interface_Technical_Suite_Rel_20.1" as latest i.e. version 20.1.  Can you please confirm that this version of the API spec. is deployed in production and we can work against this as opposed to version 18.2 that you had pointed us to earlier?

Regards,

Reuben

Hey @Reuben,

Yes, please refer to the latest version that you have which is "Real_Time_Systems_Interface_Technical_Suite_Rel_20.1" as latest i.e. version 20.1 instead of the one I pointed to you at earlier.

Thanks,

Diana

Re: Real Time System Interface for VROL API documentation

Hi,

Looking at the wsdl service definitions the test endpoint (MTE2) is here https://mutualcertservicesgateway.visa.com/websrv_rolsi/mte2/RTSIService.

What do we need to do to get the credentials to pass in message headers to perform some integration testing?  Also can our developers run tests at will and at no cost on this platform independently i.e. without a VISA representative being involved?

We would like to kick-start our understanding of this API by performing an initial few tests on the test system to simulate the following scenarios:

- Create a test transaction

- Simulate raising a dispute by providing the questionnaire

- Lookup open disputes

Kind regards,

Reuben Tonna.
