I'll take a look and let you know soon!
Thank you for your interest in signing up for a Visa Checkout business account.
Visa Checkout is a digital payment service designed to simplify the checkout experience using a secure, single sign-on across channels and devices using a customer's preferred payment method. When you add the Visa Checkout button to your site, your customers can check out with a user name and password. Keep in mind, you must also have a Merchant Service Provider in order to use Visa Checkout. Unlike Paypal, Visa Checkout doesn't process transactions.
Please advise if you are interested in signing up for a Visa Checkout business account.
The most definitive difference between PayPal and Visa Checkout is that Visa Checkout is not a standalone payment gateway.
In order to use Visa Checkout on your ecommerce site, the site must be set up with a Payment Gateway established through a Merchant Service Provider (sometimes known as a Payment Service Provider). Visa Checkout can not be used independantly or exclusively.
Visa Checkout allows customers to complete the checkout process faster, thus increasing conversions for the Merchant. The Visa Checkout integration uses the Merchant Service Provider credentials to complete the transaction and deposit funds into the account with the Merchant Service Provider along with funds received through the site's Standard Checkout Payment Gateway.
How is Visa Checkout different from PayPal? Visa Checkout and PayPal function very similarly, though Visa Checkout is only used for making purchases while PayPal is a fully-featured service that also lets you pay friends and transfer money between accounts.
