Guidance on Implementing Visa 101.1 Protocol for Transaction Processing

Hello Visa Developer Team,

I am currently working on a project that involves integrating Visa transaction processing via Protocol 101.1. My goal is to perform online digital fund settlement using a card that has an existing authorization code and is linked to VisaNet for backend processing. I understand that Protocol 101.1 is designed for specialized transaction handling, possibly in marketplace or facilitator environments, and might not require CVV but instead utilizes backend authorization mechanisms.

I would appreciate your support in clarifying the following:

  1. Which Visa APIs or SDKs support or align with Protocol 101.1?

  2. Are there certified PSPs or acquirers that currently support processing transactions under 101.1?

  3. What are the technical requirements and compliance considerations to integrate this protocol in a fully digital environment (e.g., API-based or Online POS emulation)?

  4. Is it possible to perform a one-time fund release using an authorization code without card CVV, and what Visa product (e.g., CyberSource, Visa Direct, etc.) best fits this use case?

  5. Can you provide or direct me to any available technical documentation or integration guides specific to Protocol 101.1?

I am a developer with full authorization to operate the card in question, and this project is focused strictly on compliance-based digital processing through official Visa channels.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and looking forward to your expert guidance.
