I'm working with the "Funds Transfer API " and have some questions about the uniqueness of the "systemsTraceAuditNumber", and resulting application constraints.
According to the accepted answer for this question
https://community.developer.visa.com/t5/Getting-Started-with-Visa/About-systemsTraceAuditNumber/m-p/...
For a given AFT/OCT, the systemsTraceAuditNumber, retrievalReferenceNumber and acquiringBin combination must be unique in a 24 hour period.
Since our application would be using the same acquiringBin value for every OCT/AFT, and for each OCT/AFT the recommended format for the retrievalReferenceNumber contains the corresponding systemsTraceAuditNumber used in the api call.
These constrains seems to limit the number of OCT/AFT calls that can be made in a 24 hour period to the number of unique systemsTraceAuditNumbers available, in this case: 6 digit integer => 0 - 999,999.
Therefore our application can only make 999,999 OCT/AFT calls in a given 24 hour period.
Is this line of thinking correct and is there a limit of 999,999 calls in a 24 hour period?
Hello,
I am looking into it and will get back to you.
Thank You.
