I am working on an application idea that very much aligns with the scenario described here https://developer.visa.com/use-cases/request-virtual-account. Where a company could create virtual accounts for employees or external individuals which they wish to engage with.
After reading the above, I'm led to this API documentation here https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/vpa/reference#vpa__account_management__v1__request_virtual_a...
I would like to start testing this out, I am a little confused with the notion of a client and a buyer and how that relates to the scenario above. Would the client be the issuer in this scenario? And would the buyer be the organisation that is using my application to create virtual accounts on behalf of their employees?

Hey @str1zzwald,
I'll take a look and get back to you soon.
Hi Diana,
Did you get a chance to investigate this for me?
Thanks
Kennedy
Hey @str1zzwald,
Please refer to the How Does It Work section here - https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/vpa
The issuer is the person who owns the application that has B2B Virtual Account Payment Method API. The issuer is the third party client. The buyer is the person who purchases products/services from you (the issuer).
Hey @str1zzwald,
You're very welcome, I'm so happy to help 🙂
