Why x-request-id is NOT AN UNIQUE field of API Request?

Hello Visa Dev,

 

Can someone explain me please, why the x-request-id is NOT an UNIQUE field for any VTS API request? We tested with duplicate x-request-id and still the request is processed by VTS Server.

If each request is not identified uniquely, then this could lead to duplicate processing of the same request.
