authentication

Good day,  I saw a comment at the youtube tutorial regarding authentication... and wanted to see if I could get clarification.

"Make sure you have received the API access credentials to start building your application with XPay Token. Based on the APIs you select, you can use one of the two standard supported authentication methods for calling the APIs –Two-Way SSL (Mutual Authentication) and API Key – Shared Secret (x-pay-token). Check out the Visa Developer Playlist for additional videos on Two-Way SSL credentials and more."

Can these two methods be used together and is there an example where this is demo'd?  Thank you.  Bill

Re: authentication

Hi @billb,

Some Visa Developer APIs require an API Key-Shared Secret Authentication (x-pay-token) and some require Mutual SSL authentication. Please check the below links for information and tutorials on each of the methods.

Mutual SSL:

X Pay Token:

Re: authentication

Yes, thank you, but are there any which currently require both?

Re: authentication

Hi @billb,

Not currently, it's either X-Pay-Token or Mutual SSL. Are you looking for an API that requires both?

Stacey
