Error: CN: Use more than 2 parts in common name

Hello

I ve generated CSR using

openssl req -new -sha256 -key example-key.pem -out example.csr -subj "/CN=vally.io/OU=Management/O=Vally Technologies GmbH/L=.../ST=.../C=.../UID=d31....a7f-CERT"

but during CSR add process got an error: Error:
CN: Use more than 2 parts in common name

Can not find any ideas how to solve this.

Re: Error: CN: Use more than 2 parts in common name

Hi @slobodadev,

The CN needs to have a sub-domain (e.g. services.vally.com).

Thanks,

Diana
