my application has a checkout. The payment info from the checkout needs to be sent via API to another financial entity that is not a payment gateway or processor. While that other financial entity is PCI compliant and the API with which the payment data is sent to them is secure, I am not clear how to handle this on the checkout side.
I guess what I am essentially looing for is a hosted checkout form (I don't want to have to be PCI compliant) that can integrate into the non-gateway API. However, no matter where I look, I can only find infrastructure providers that have integrations into misc. payment gateways. I asked a couple of providers but they all want to charge me thousands of dollars for custom integrations. I was hoping there'd be an easier solution...
Has anyone come across this use case and knows how to solve this?

Hi @phaedrus,
Have you checked out our product offerings under Payment Methods? I think Visa Payment Processing (VPP) might be a fit for your use case. When a consumer places an order, the merchant can use the VPP API to send payment information directly to Visa. VPP does require you to be a Visa client and PCI compliant though. Please check it out and let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks for the reply, but I cannot force the partner to use a specific processor. They will use whomever they have used in the past...
Hi @phaedrus,
Have you also taken a look at Visa Checkout? This is a digital payment service designed to simplify the checkout experience using a secure, single sign-on across channels and devices using a customer's preferred payment method. If you are interested in using Visa Checkout, you will need to work with a partner in order to integrate Visa Checkout into your project. You can find the list of Partners to integrate with Visa Checkout here.
