Push notification for all transaction record

Dear Sir/ Madam,

We are an independent mobile application developer company. We aim to develop a mobile application that will notify customer, via push notification, about the card transactions they made. The mobile application will cater to both bank-issued debit / credit card and non-bank issued debit/ credit card. Unfortunately we are affliated neither to any issuer of such cards nor to any payment gateway. Is it still possible to used Visa Transaction Control API to obtain such information (transaction record) on behalf of consumer? Please advise. Thanks.

Good Day Sir,

Thank you for providing your business case, it is very well thought out. The Visa Transaction Controls (VTC) APIs can be used by any developer in the Sandbox. Currently, issuers and their partner service providers can use the VTC APIs in Production only.

It's beatiful that independent developers can you this API in test mode. But, how can we use this in production mode if we are not issuer? Is it possible?

Currently, small business, issuers and their partner service providers can use the VTC APIs in Production. Please refer to documentation - https://developer.visa.com/capabilities/vctc
