The Bank Identification Number refers to the initial sequence of 4 to 6 numbers that appears on a card. The first 6 digits of the whole number are the IIN, or “Issuer Identification Number” (also known as the BIN, or “Bank Identification Number”).
Thanks and where did you get that from? Do you know if that is a pre-paid card?
I have a number of cards that have been incorrectly rejected by banks and in some cases I want to follow up and understand why. The rejection response is not adequate to understand.
Also I need a list of pre-paid BIN ranges. Mastercard provide this but I have yet to find it for VISA.
