VisaDirect - how to get cardAcceptor, retrievalReferenceNumber and acquiringBin for send reques

Hello 

I'm developing visa direct API, and there are some request parameter that can not know hot to get, including cardAcceptor, retrievalReferenceNumber and acquiringBin

Although I can test in Sandbox (Sandbox test data provided)

But for production, are these data can get from other VISA API or need to ask or cooperate with originator?

Hey EasonKuo, 

You will need a Visa sponsor who will provide this for production access. 

In order to use Visa Direct APIs in production  you must be one of three:

-  Visa client financial institution (issuer or acquirer),

- a third-party Originator that has been granted a Visa acquirer POS license (geographical restrictions apply),

- a third-party Originator that has established an acquiring relationship for that purpose with a Visa client financial institution

So it means if  we're the one of three you mentioned, then we will  get these infomation data and can pass to VisaDirect API?

Hi EasonKuo, 

You will still have to send in a production request and go through approval process before going to production. 

Here are the steps:

1. Develop and test your App in sandbox
2. Submit for review and approval
3. If app Approves, Commercialization (giving contracts and Pricing)
4. On boarding and Production.

isn't there a way to find out commercial or pricing information before an application is developed as it could be a huge risk factor if the pricing affects the viability of an application.
